CISL is a Canadian radio station, which broadcasts the programming of the Oldies 650 CISL network in Vancouver, British Columbia. It is one of Canada's few remaining successful music stations on the AM dial.

CISL originally signed on in 1980 at a frequency of 940 kHz and a power of 2500 watts. The licence was granted to a group controlled by Michael Dickenson, whose previous broadcast experience included a stint at CHQM. While the original music content was primarily easy-listening, overall content placed an emphasis on the community of Richmond (the ISLand in CISL).

About 1985, the frequency was changed to 650 kHz and the daytime power increased to 10,000 watts, still at the same Richmond transmitter site (the antenna array was changed from four to three towers). About the same time, the musical format morphed into Oldies, and the Richmond community programming gradually disappeared.

Oldies 650 CISL is a radio station that broadcasts over the airwaves of British Columbia's Lower Mainland. The station broadcasts out of Richmond, BC and its program director is Gerry O'day.

With a primary focus on the great music from the 1960s & '70s, 650 CISL is home to the icons from the early days of Rock & Roll, including Elvis, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, and the many legends of Motown. On the air, it's often said that 650 CISL has a body of music that allows the rare distinction of being a radio station that virtually anyone, regardless of age or cultural heritage, can hum along with.

650 CISL is an active member of its community, helping with hundreds of events annually, at no cost to event organizers, through its Community Cruiser program. In 2006, the station participated in the first Annual Radiothon For Kids, helping to raise over $200,000 for The Sunnyhill Health Centre For Children.

650 CISL offers its audience of 35-64 year olds a distinct musical service and a strong commitment to fun, family-friendly content. The on-air line-up is noteworthy, including the legendary Red Robinson, an inductee in the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame in Cleveland.

The 650 CISL audience is intensely loyal to the radio station and its clients. The station not only provides advertisers with a direct line to Vancouver and area's affluent 40+ demographic, but promotional opportunities that can bring listeners and clients together with remarkable results.

All the great oldies from the late '50s to the early '80s are played for 650 CISL's audience in the Greater Vancouver area. It is one of Canada’s few remaining Oldies radio stations.
