I removed the list of villain groups from the article. There's a new article at City_of_Heroes_Villainous_Organizations that looks like a good place to put villain group info, because CoV and CoH share so many villains JZig 10:46, 6 January 2006 (UTC)

I know I'm not the only one who's in the CoV Beta. The NDA got lifted last week, so you can feel free to add info from the beta if it's not likely to change. In particular, someone should fill out the primaries and secondaries of all the archetypes. I'd do it, but I'm lazy :) 10:24, 17 October 2005 (UTC)

Thanks to Wahooker for the copyediting, however I do have one question: Can you give a source to the info that Villains can raid other Villains lairs? I can't recall any news on Villain vs Villain gameplay in any way, and I'm curious about it. RoToRa 6 July 2005 08:27 (UTC)

there is an article in one of the computer game magazines (CGW i think, not sure) about this and you can fight villians in combat and i believe villian V villian raids were also mentioned it there.

Just wondering, since this is labeled expansion but is almost a seperate side of the original game, do you have to have the original CoH to play CoV? Expansions in the traditional sense to need the originals but this is somewhat different.

No. As it says in the article: CoV is both a stand-alone game and an expansion. You don't need CoH to play it - in that case you only can play a villain and not a hero. RoToRa 22:41, 16 July 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Proposed section move

It's been discussed before at Talk:City of Heroes characters, but this time I'm ready to do it. "It" is move the bulk of the Archetype section from this article over to City of Heroes characters, making that article a joint one for both games. The move will not be clean at first, given the different formats of the sections between here and there, but things will smooth out over time. IMHO this is a needed move. Several other CoH titled articles are actually articles for both games, and over time both this article and the Characters one will benefit from having the info over there, with just a link left here.

Anyway, this is notice that I plan to do this, baring any major objections raised here in the next couple of days. If no objections are raised, I'll do this before the end of the week. - TexasAndroid 19:30, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

Each country should be listed alphabetically, England, euro, then US.

I disagree. It should be listed in order of release in the country. It was in the US first, and then they expanded to the UK and then the EU. Ryūlóng 20:43, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
