Cory later on, went to a nearby farm and gave the money to the farmer who he and his family were grateful. Duncan and Amanda saw Cory at the farm and stopped by to see what Cory was doing. Duncan tells Cory that the money he is stealing, some of it belongs to people like the farmer he gave the money to. Cory gave the family his car so they can get to California.
Later on, Duncan, Cory, and Amanda drove on the road and the authorities were there, waiting for them. Cory got the idea of Duncan and Amanda being the hostage, Cory ends up getting shot up and later on, Duncan would dig Cory up from his grave. It would be there where Cory and Amanda would become the Immortal version of Bonnie and Clyde.
