Crimson Crew

The Sampsonites are the student section of Indiana University's NCAA men's basketball team. They cheer on the Hoosiers from their 7200 allotted seats at Assembly Hall. The Sampsonites were formally known as the Crimson Crew before the arrival of new coach Kelvin Sampson. Indiana has struggled many times to organize their student section, but they feel they have now succeeded. In 2005, Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski called Assembly Hall the loudest place outside of Cameron Indoor Stadium
