[edit] JPD's RfA
Thanks, Darth Vader, for your support at my RfA, which finished with a tally of 94/1/0. I hope I live up to the confidence you have shown in me in my activities as an administrator. JPD (talk) 16:28, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] RfA thanks
Hey DarthVader. Thank you for supporting my recent RfA. It finished with an amazing final tally of 160/4/1. I really appreciate your support. Cheers, Sarah Ewart (Talk) 21:25, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] I like
I like this chart of yours. I had been thinking it would be nice to have a chart showing all RfAs chronologically (instead of separating the passes from the fails, as we do now) and your chart is close to what I imagined. Probably too much work to maintain though. Did you skip many RfAs in May/June/July, or is that a complete list? Anyway, nice chart :). NoSeptember 00:34, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] RfA
Hi DarthVader - there is not an iota of doubt in my mind about your capability for adminship and capacity to pull more support, but allow me to suggest that you withdraw for now. This is because I think (1) you should respect present concerns of objectors - you'd pull more support but that would create a situation in which you may hit 60-70%, which is not enough. (2) This will enable you to immediately start working for the future and minimize any heartburn. Whatever your thoughts, know that I support your wholeheartedly. I'm saddened by the situation but hopeful for the next 3 months. Go for another RfA in Jan '07. Rama's arrow 16:27, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
- Hi. I've only just seen your RfA and want to say that, although I feel unable to stick my neck out on your behalf, I will be looking out for you in the future and (on the basis of what I've seen so far) I will be inclined to support you if you re-apply at a later date. [edit] Thank you for supporting my RfA
Thank you for your support in my RfA, which passed with a final tally of (56/0/2). It was great to see so much kind support from such competent editors and administrators as commented on my RfA.
I know I have much reading to do before I'll feel comfortable enough to use some of the more powerful admin tools, so I'll get right to it. |
[edit] Deon555's RfA
Thank you for your support on my RFA, which closed successfully yesterday with a result of (18/16/8). I'd like to let you know that I won't be running for adminship again, until I am nominated, rather than nominating myself again. Thanks for your support, Deon. — Deon555talkReview 22:56, 2 November 2006 (UTC) |

[edit] RfA thanks
Hi Darth, and thanks for your participation at the recent RfA, which did not succeed. For those of you who expressed their support, your kind words and your trust are sincerely appreciated. For those who were opposed --especially those who offered their constructive criticism-- please accept this message as assurance that equally sincere efforts, aimed at enhancing the quality and accuracy of representations within the Wikipedia, will continue. Striving for improved collaboration and consensus will also continue, with all of your insights in mind, while applying NPOV ideals as fairly and reasonably as possible. Mike's RfA Thanks | ||
DarthVader: Thanks very much for your support at my RfA. Unfortunately, it was clear that no consensus was going to be reached, and I have withdrawn the request at a final tally of 31/17/4. Regardless, I really appreciate your confidence in me. Despite the failure, rest assured that I will continue to edit Wikipedia as before. If all goes well, I think that I will re-apply in January or February. - Mike | Talk 04:34, 13 November 2006 (UTC) |

[edit] Requests for Checkuser Clerkship
I'm pleased to announce that you are being invited to take a position as a Checkuser clerk; if you are still interested, please drop me a note on my talk page. It would also be helpful to list yourself as an active clerk, read over the documentation, and add the relevant pages to your watchlist. If you are an IRC user, you may join us in #wikipedia-checkuser-clerks. If you have questions about clerkship, you can ask User:Daniel.Bryant, our Head Clerk. [edit] Concordia Newsletter
Concordia is currently trying to relaunch. I, and all the members of the ex-council, wish to welcome new members to the group. We are a group who aim to promote remaining civil, in an environment where messages can easily be interpretated wrongly.
[edit] Help out now!
- Try and help people remain civil! Talk to them, and help them in any way possible. Do not be afraid to use the talk page.
- Give people the Civility Barnstar.
- Make and spread some Wikitokens so people know there are people to help if they want assistance.
- Add banners or logos to your userpage to show your support.
- Suggest some ideas! Add 'em to the talk page.
We are a community, so can only work though community contributions and support. It's the helping that counts.
[edit] Decision Making
The council expired one month ago, but due to the current position of the group the current council will remain until the position of the group can be assessed, and whether it would be sensible to keep Concordia going. For most decisions, however, it will be decided by all who choose to partake in discussions. I am trying to relaunch because of the vast amounts of new members we have received, demonstrating that the aims are supported.
If you wish to opt of of further talk-page communications, just let us know here.

Happy Birthday, DarthVader! Wishing you a very happy birthday and an awesome upcoming year! Don't forget to save us all a piece of cake! Best regards from the Birthday Committee and myself! --lovelaughterlife♥talk? 21:30, 16 December 2006 (UTC) |

[edit] Rfa Thanks
Thank you for participating in my RfA. I decided to end it; more time is needed, and I probably need a bit more experience. From here, I think I'll look at community discussion, AfD and the like. I will try to improve in the areas of concern, and thanks to everyone who supplied feedback. -- Selmo (talk) 06:19, 17 December 2006 (UTC) |
[edit] Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Clerks
Hey there. I was wondering when you are going to take on board more checkuser clerks - after all, there are five inactive checkuser clerks at the moment (e) and there are seven standby users at present.
We are all extremely enthusiastic to participate as Clerks and to assist Wikipedia even further.
Please reply on my talk page.
Cheers and regards,
Anthonycfc (talk • email • tools) 16:06, Wednesday December 27, 2006 (UTC)

[edit] A very Californian RfA thanks from Luna Santin
Thanks for your support in my not-so-recent RfA, which succeeded with a final tally of (97/4/4)! I've never been able to accept compliments gracefully, and the heavy support from this outstanding community left me at a complete loss for words -- so, a very belated thank you for all of your kind words.
I have done and will continue to do the utmost to serve the community in this new capacity, wherever it may take me, and to set an example others might wish to follow in. With a little luck and a lot of advice, this may be enough. Maybe someday the enwiki admins of the future will look back and say, "Yeah, that guy was an admin." Hopefully then they don't start talking about the explosive ArbComm case I got tied into and oh what a drama that was, but we'll see, won't we? Surely some of you have seen me in action by now; with that in mind, I openly invite and welcome any feedback here or here -- help me become the best editor and sysop I can be.

- And now we're both RfCU clerks -- small world, after all, eh? ;) Luna Santin 12:29, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
