The 152 is a class of electric locomotives operated by Railion (formerly DB Cargo) in Germany, introduced in 1996.
The new class was developed in conjunction with the 101 starting from the 127 Eurosprinter prototypes in order to provide DB with a substitute of the ageing 150 and 151 classes for cargo trains. The electric equipment is manufactured by Siemens. Maximum speed excluded, all performance characteristics are similar to those of Class 101.
