Doshpuluur is part of WikiProject Central Asia, a project to improve all Central Asia-related articles. This includes but is not limited to Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Xinjiang, Tibet and Central Asian portions of Iran and Russia, region-specific topics, and anything else related to Central Asia. Pine and larch aren't the same tree. I don't feel comfortable changing this article myself, because I don't have the proper expertese in Tuyvan lutes to know if there are doshpuluurs made from both pine and larch, but this probably should be changed.
- Changed it to pine or larch; both woods are readily available in the region. Also removed 'cedar' as that is a mis-translation of Russian 'Kedr' (Siberian Pine Pinus sibirica) - MPF 13:26, 22 December 2005 (UTC)
