Enterprise Drive is an expected arterial route that stretches from York Regional Road 65 to the current terminus YMCA Boulevard. In the future, the road is going to be extended up to York Regional Road 3. The road is expect to travel through the very heart of Downtown Markham, and expect to take a lot of traffic and soothes up traffic on York Regional Road 7.

Municipalities: Markham (Downtown)
Length: 1.5 km and counting
Transportation: Viva Green and Viva Purple
Attractions: Markham Downtown, Unionville (GO Station)
Road Status: The road is separated by a grass lawn in the middle, mimicking Hurontario Street in Mississauga, Ontario. Each direction has 2 lanes.
Zonings: Expected to be commercial and residential zonings.

[edit] Role of development of Markham Downtown

Enterprise Drive is expected to be the main traffic routes of Downtown Markham. Along the road, there will be high-rise commercials and high-rise residential. The route will be the downtown's arterial route along with Yorktech Drive to the west, Unionville Gate and South Unionville Avenue to the east. The chain of roads form a future artery with commercial, industrial, and residential mix. Enterprise Drive is also linked to a Unionville (GO Station), and is already a favourite route of commuters.^{[citation needed]} Along the route would be a medium-density community.

Even though the road is not built up and paved yet, Viva Green and Viva Purple is already using the route, and is depicted to be the favourite mass transit the Markham Downtowners will use. Enterprise and Warden Stations have already been set up along the route. Unionville (GO Station) is also along the route.
