Libby Swanson Jacobs is the Iowa State Representative from the 60th District. She has served in the Iowa House of Representatives since 1995. She received her BA from the University of Nebraska and her MPA from Drake University.
Jacobs currently serves on several committees in the Iowa House - the Commerce committee; the Judiciary committee; the State Government committee; and the Ways and Means committee. Her political experience includes serving as majority whip in the Iowa House.
Jacobs was re-elected in 2006 with 7,849 votes, running unopposed. [1]
