[edit] Collateral damage
Just to tell you, there was a bit of unintentional collateral damage from your recent block of User:512theking. It would be awesome if you could take care of it. Thanks! GracenotesT § 05:21, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for unblocking me, i'm really sorry that my brother vandalizd your pages he told me after he came home from juvy. I'm sorry, i'm the one to blame for this becuase I should have taken care of him a long time ago. I told him if he ever edits any wikipedia article ever again, i'll tell my parents that time he skipped school 7 times, he'll be for grounded like 5 months. -- JohnnyAlbert10 Time to talk · My Help 12:25, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
- Specifically, this edit was conducted: [1] Per latest consensus at the U.S. Roads WikiProject, all of these socks have been blocked indef. on sight. --Rschen7754 (talk - contribs) 20:20, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

- Possibly if he uses 512theking in the name? --Rschen7754 (talk - contribs) 20:47, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
- I tried my skipping school threat, and he don't care. But how will you know if that's him, he could be using a new name. I'll just look in his computer's history then notifying you.

Hey, could you take a good look at Pennsylvania Route 65 and tell me what else the article needs to improve. I could use some help as well. -- JohnnyAlbert10 Time to talk · My Help 15:32, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
- More formal tone could be used. Beyond that, I am not sure (I am not from the East Coast and do not know much about PA highways). --Rschen7754 (talk - contribs) 20:47, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] About my rating for the WP:CAL
Hello, I am a member of the WP:CAL. The routes you have rated are on my Watchlist. I have contributed to them and have rated for our project. I would like to rate higher than B, Low but have guidance on this from a respected proect member on ratings. On articles of great importance to our project, I have rated up to B, Mid. This one should be that but not when stacked up against some of our other projects. Hope this helps. BTW, I added to U.S. Route 40 a source that gives great descriptions on our state routes/interstates Interstate 40. If you look at the top of the page, there is a box to type in a route number ala 68 which talks about our California State Route 68. Lots of great info. Ronbo76 03:42, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
- WP:USRD/A rating is separate from any WP:CAL rating. If this does not answer your question, please clarify. --Rschen7754 (talk - contribs) 03:44, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Active user verification
Hello, Rschen7754. Due to the high number of inactive users at WP:USRD, we are asking that you verify that you are still an active contributor of the project. To do so, please add an asterisk (*) after your name on Wikipedia:WikiProject U.S. Roads/Newsletter/List. Users without one by the next issue in 2 weeks will be removed off the list and off the respective road projects as well. If you have any questions, please contact me on my talk page. Thanks. [edit] Request Block
In regards to IP user 209.244.30.249, on 19 January 2007 you said
with any further violations, the aforementioned accounts and any socks will be blocked indefinitely on sight. Let this serve as a final warning to the person behind all of these accounts.
IP 209.244.30.249 has been used to repeatedly vandalize the Michael Corcoran article.
I beleive these IP's/accounts to be sock puppets of the same individual:
69.139.11.105
69.248.239.218
130.91.93.33
Watchmike
I ask you to follow through and block this IP and the related sock puppets indefinitely. Thanks Windyjarhead 04:03, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
- This needs to be taken to WP:AN subpage, this appears to be a different vandal than the one that was blocked above. --Rschen7754 (talk - contribs) 04:39, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

Hi. I don't know what bot something with your request for bot approval went wrong. You linked to a request that doesn't exist. Maybe a typo? — Ocolon 06:42, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

I'll get right on this to improve the project. I've been editing so many other articles lately I've put it on the backburner, but the pages really do need attention. [edit] Minnesota Highway Shields
I got this notice when I started applying the current shields. I might need someone to back me up on this.
- I noticed you've been replacing the historic shields with the modern blue ones. This can't happen. It's misleading to put the modern shield on an article when the highway was decommissioned long before that style was used. In that case I see it as better to have no shield at all than an incorrect one, but I still don't see what the problem with mine is. --Sable232 14:10, 28 March 2007 (UTC) (on my talk page)

[edit] An Automated Message from HagermanBot
Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. [edit] Interstate 238
Your input would be appreciated at Talk:Interstate 238. A debate has developed about 238's status as a child or non-child of I-80. User:Chriscf is claiming it is a child of 80 while I'm claiming it is not as we've been treating it from day one. I've found no evidence for his position but at least 3 different instances of support for mine from fairly reliable sources one of which is linked to from the Caltrans page. - He's striking out your comments again. Gateman1997 21:29, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
- Also yes I'm still active, as evidence by me engaging in the I 238 debate. I just didn't want to get the newsletter. I usually come read where it's located directly. Gateman1997 21:33, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Rschen7754bot
I have already completed a trial, and this was clearly noted on the request page. Furthermore, I asked for two other tasks to be approved. --Rschen7754 (talk - contribs) 21:56, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry, is this is response to something? I don't remember :-) —METS501 (talk) 22:01, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
- This was in response to your archiving of my bot request today. --Rschen7754 (talk - contribs) 22:02, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
- Oh, sorry. It wasn't archiving, don't worry, just moving into the "Bots in a trial period" section for sorting purposes. It will be dealt with soon. —METS501 (talk) 22:06, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
- The problem is, there is a huge backload of tasks at USRD that need to get approved that were waiting on that archived request. Such as the delivery of newsletters that are delivered tomorrow.
- Quite frankly, the level of bureaucracy at BRFA is disturbing and frustrating, especially for a bot that has been approved by the old bot group and has a bot flag. It can be stated that it would be quicker for me to carry out the tasks manually than to wait for the current BRFA group to slowly agree with my requests. --Rschen7754 (talk - contribs) 22:09, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
- I'm sorry that you feel that way, but complaining isn't going to help. Really. I don't know what you mean about "new" and "old" bot approvals groups, because there's only been additions; only Essjay (who was inactive) and Betacommand have been removed. There's just a lot of bots that need to be dealt with, and we have to be very careful about EVERYTHING. Much more than just manual editing. When letting a bot run, it's crucial that everything is perfect, because fixing it is TONS of work. —METS501 (talk) 22:14, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Please restore me.
Hi there, I actually was unable to build any more pages in the past couple months due to being busy. Because of that, I had not logged into my Wikipedia account. I'd like to be added to the roads pages again, because there are some articles I want to write or edit on Maryland roads. -Matt —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Mattpedersen (talk • contribs) 17:47, 5 April 2007 (UTC).
- Re-added to the newsletter list. However, you will need to re-add yourself to any projects. --Rschen7754 (talk - contribs) 00:35, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
