Doris Lessing

Doris LESSING (naskiĝis la 22-an de oktobro, 1919) estas angla verkistino.
Ŝi naskiĝis en Kermanshah, Irano. En la jaro 1924 ŝia familio transloĝiĝis al Suda Rodezio (nuntempe: Zimbabvo). Ekde 1949 ŝi loĝas en Londono.
La verkaro de Doris Lessing pritraktas tri bazajn temojn: kritikon de la socia realeco, la konflikton inter la unuopulo kaj la socio kaj la esploron pri la homa psiko. Grandan influon al la verkado havis la marksisma ideologio de la aŭtorino kaj la spertoj en Afriko.
