FC Metalist Kharkiv (Ukrainian: ФК «Металіст» Харків) is a football team from Kharkiv, Ukraine currently playing in the Ukrainian Premier League.

[edit] Promotions and Demotions
Metalist was one of the founder members of the Ukrainian Premier League, from its first season in 1992. They were relegated to the Persha Liha when they finished last in the 1993-94 season but returned to compete in 1998-1999. They were relegated once again in the 12th season, 2002-03, but they quickly return to the Premier League in 2004-05.
