FC Midtjylland is a Danish football team which plays in the town of Herning. The team is result of a merger between Ikast FS (which also includes tennis, badminton and handball clubs) and Herning Fremad. Currently they play in the Danish Superliga.
FC Midtjylland play in a new stadium, SAS Arena, which Messecenter Herning owns.
Up to the spring season 2007, FC Midtjylland was put in a bad light bacause they had deals whit africans pupils and defended itself whit "they study and plays football when they not study"
