[edit] Fission Chips
Fission Chips is the name of fictional Chicago businessman Jon Spiro's computer electronics company in the Artemis Fowl book series. It is also the rival company of Phonetix.
Fission Chips, specifically, deals with the manufacturing of mobile phone SIMs and encrypting them, shown by the C Cube decrypting and downloading the information in Artemis Fowl: The Eternity Code.
[edit] Spiro Needle
Fission Chips is headquartered in the Spiro Needle in downtown Chicago. With the help of the fairy dwarf Mulch Diggums, elf Holly Short and young human Juliet Butler are able to break into the Spiro Needle, rescue the imprisoned Artemis Fowl, retrieve the stolen C Cube, and eventually uncover Jon Spiro's treachery, leading to his arrest.
