Hybras

Hybras is a fictional island in the Artemis Fowl Series by Eoin Colfer, featured in Artemis Fowl: The Lost Colony. It is really a large piece of lunar rock, which fell from the moon when a large meteorite hit it. When it hit Earth, it punched into a magma stream and was welded to the surface. The Demons and imps (and warlocks) that live there are descended from bacterial life forms in lunar soil. During the battle of Tailtte, the warlocks of the demon tribe teleported Hybras through time where it hung in Limbo. In Artemis Fowl: The Lost Colony, the island is sent back to Ireland's coast. It is also the land where Artemis gets his magic traveling through space and time.
