IMDb profile |
Fun with Dick and Jane is a 1977 romantic comedy film starring George Segal and Jane Fonda as an upper-middle class couple who turn to crime. It was directed by Ted Kotcheff.
Other actors include Ed McMahon and Richard Gautier. One tagline was "Bonnie and Clyde they ain't".
The character names come from the Dick and Jane series of children's educational books and the title is taken from the title of one of the books in the series. It is obviously meant as a joke juxtaposing the crime with the innocence of the children's books.
A remake was released in 2005, starring Jim Carrey and Téa Leoni.
