Age of Ghigo only 15 years old. First music composition of a rhythm and blues called Stazione del Blues (the blues station).
[edit] 1952

The song Stazione del Rock (the rock station) is on radio
[edit] 1957
Ghigo won the first rock and roll festival in Milan and recorded his first European and Italian rock and roll song called "Coccinella"; his producer Gianbattista Ansoldi denied the publication for fear of censorship by RAI Commission, for the lyrics had provocative content, dedicated to the famous Coccinelle of Paris, (the first publicized French transsexual woman in 1958). In this year recording of the first song-cover for radio, "Georgia on My Mind" (by Hoagy Carmichael-Stuart Gorrell).
[edit] 1958
After six years of concerts, Ghigo is popular in north italy, but the discographic-freezing, puts Ghigo in rage condition on live events, sometimes interrupted by local police, this because his energy, vocal power, crazy movements, tearing dresses with violence in concert, tempt the fun-visitors beyond any limit.
[edit] 1959
Finally, the song Coccinella is published in March, and in December it's in juke boxe (on 45rpm side B the old song Stazione del rock).
[edit] 1960
World-wide explosion of Coccinella, but Ghigo is equally condemned by censorship-RAI Commission. On the success arrives the second powerful rock and roll Allocco tra gli angeli (rapacious-volture with the angels), an 45rpm with on side B the first italian cha-cha-cha Banana frutto di moda (banana fruit of fashion), sexual song allusive to the organ genital male, contest that involves the second censorship; for Ghigo the radio and television are not more accessible.
[edit] 1961
Fortunately, Ghigo is very strong on juke-boxe and live events, that again recall the incursion of local police; in this year another strong 45rpm with the rock and roll No! al Demonio (no! to the devil) and the first italian blues Scalogna e carcere (misfortune and prison). In Rome, Ghigo win new rock and roll festival, historic event one more time interrupted by local police.

Is published an Ep with the first italian ballad Solo con me, and others two censured songs: the swing Bella ragazzina di Verona (beauty little girl of verona), censured because allusive to under-age girl, and the shake Dai fà la brava (come on, be good girl), censured because invites to make the sex in a bathing-cabin.
[edit] 1964
New sound and new band for Ghigo, called Ghigo e i goghi (ghigo and goghi); with this group a strong Ep containing Ciao (first italian beat- with inspiration on shout by Isley Brothers ), Conosco Jenny (know jenny - rhythm and blues) and Non avrei mai creduto (I would have never believed), first tango-rock in the world.
[edit] 1965
Born Mister Anima, strangest and misterious personage that hides his identity under a particulary red-frock with cowl, and a thik beard-moustache. His voice and english language was comparable to american black-singers. To 1967, for two years he succeeded to hide who was truly; an artist with a vocal modulation considerable; frequently was exchanged in italy for an american singer.
[edit] 1966
With this pseudonym Ghigo published an 45rpm with the following songs : Non voglio pietà (I do not want mercy - first italian soul) and Solitude time (rhythm and blues).
[edit] 1967
Second 45rpm of Mister Anima, with Attrazione (attraction - a mix of soul-rhythm and blues) and La mia passeggiata (my walk- classic italian rock).
[edit] 1968
Again two pseudonyms for Ghigo, Probus Harlem, name that honors the famous group of Procol Harum with some covers-songs: in the first 45rpm I' wither sade of pale and Hold on I'm coming (other strongest soul); in second 45rpm there's another cover-Procol Harum Homburg and the theatrical Love drug and sex (first funky form in italy).
From Mister Anima to Probus Harlem, Ghigo had an excellent vocal emission that conquest rewiews on american magazine and admirations from american black singers, where is defined "the white-negro".
During 1968 third production with the pseudonym Rico Agosti, therefore L'orsacchiotto nero (beat) a La boutique (first italian dixieland), too published in U.S. and U.K. as Small black bear and The Boutique. The beat was too published in France as Ourson Noire.
[edit] 1969
Ghigo retun to his real identity as Ghigo Agosti and published a archaic form of progressive rock, having with his creativity and progressive sound a song of James Brown, called James Brown dice...io dico!!! (james brown say...I' say !!! - from it's a man's man's man's world), a famous version of 9 min. totally different rispect the original.
[edit] 1970
Year that characterizes psychedelic prog-experimentation on live events, with Probus Harlem band.
[edit] 1971
Last pseudonyme of Ghigo and last 45rpm called Black Sunday Flowers, a band with three elements, Ghigo lead vocal on eletric organ Vox Continental II (on leslie), on eletric bass the black-english Paul White and the black-american drummer John Fitgerald Bennet. Therefore two new song on record, Hot Rock (powerful soul) and Madness (mix of jazz rock and soul).
[edit] others news
From 1967 to 1971 always Paul White, John Fitgerald bennet, the american drummers Henry Granfuck and Francis Plasheye, all black musicians.
From 1966 to 1974, on live concert, Ghigo was supporter of Jimi Hendrix, Helton John, Isaac Hayes, Max Roach, Daevid Allen (Gong) and others international artists.
The italian history tells that Ghigo was idle and inspiring of the famous italian singer Adriano Celentano, when he was not a singer, this before of 1957. Ghigo abandons the music in 1974, after a period of progressive rock live events, frequently on woodstock tribute and some live in London with Black Sunday Flowers trio.
From 1974 to 1990 he becomes a journalist-photoreporter and discographic music rewiews with private agency that accomodates big artists from all world, and work for the more important international major labels, creating interesting photos-images for cover-records.
During 80's he realized in U.S. some music-seminaries in collaboration with black-people artists, and has composed a large numbers of song for various artists in the world.
In 1990 his return in the music, with new interesting production of rock-song, progressive, music religion and jazz. In his life, has been too cine-actor and theatre, composer and singer for some soundtracks.
Today he's considered in the world, a big object of cult rock, maybe, the first european rocker of ours story, and sure, the italian artist more censured during 60's.
