[edit] Possible error in the leap for the Fourth Prophet
Many circles don't quite agree, using this ( http://marathon.bungie.org/story/cortana.html#6 )as a source for the fourth, not just the fourth prophet. Many speculate this to in fact be refencing a planet or celestial object. --Anonymas 17:33, May 30, 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Primary Covenant villain?
Is the High Prophet of Truth the primary Covenant villain of Halo 2? --John-1107 28 June 2005 19:23 (UTC)
I didn't know where else to write this, but I think that the fourth, higher ruling Prophet is the prophet of Reconciliation. It makes sense. In Halo 1, there was a ship called, The Truth and Reconciliation. Again, this is just my thoughts about the issue, but I think it makes alot of sense.

The article describes each Prophet's "irony", but... I don't feel that's irony. If the Prophet of Regret regrets something, that's not irony. It would be irony if he would be the one who would push forward big decisions and never look back.
If the Prophet of Mercy was merciless, then that's irony. If he was the one that promoted mass suicide or whatever, then I guess that is pretty ironic, actually.
One thing, however. The article claims the Prophet of Truth's irony "is perhaps the most subtle." HE LIES WHILE HE'S THE PROPHET OF TRUTH. LIES. TRUTH. TRUTH. LIES. DUR, I DON'T GET IT. Agent_Koopa

[edit] Correction about the use of the chairs
I corrected some information that said that the Hierachs required their levitating chairs to move. I recall that Bungie mentioned in an interview somewhere that the Hierarchs do not require their chairs to move about, just that they were "too good" to use their own feet. I know that will hardly stand up on Wikipedia unless I can cite the specific source, but do recall that early in Halo 2 we see several Prophets in the High Council Chamber sitting in benches without the aid of such chairs. One of those Prophets even stands up on his own power and says "Nay, it was heresy!" - Fearless Son 21:34, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
