Huston-Tillotson University

Huston-Tillotson University is a historically black university in Austin, Texas. The school is affiliated with the United Methodist Church, the United Church of Christ and the United Negro College Fund.
Huston-Tillotson University became the official name of the school on February 28, 2005. The school was previously known as Huston-Tillotson College, which was formed by the merger of Samuel Huston College and Tillotson College on October 24, 1952.
Anthony and Louise Viaer – Alumni Hall (formerly known as the Administration Building) is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
