In the Nightside Eclipse è il primo album della band black metal norvegese Emperor. L'album contiene una delle loro canzoni più conosciute, "I am the Black Wizards", ed è considerato un capolavoro del black metal. È stato registrato durante il luglio 1993 al Grieghallen ed è stato pubblicato nel 1994 dalla Candlelight Records. L'immagine di copertina è stata disegnata da Necrolord, conosciuto come Kristian Wåhlin. L'album è stato prodotto da Pytten.
La canzone "Inno A Satana" è chiamata probabilmente così per omaggiare il rivoluzionario poema di Giosuè Carducci dallo stesso nome.
