I Runemagick sono una band doom metal/death metal originaria della Svezia e nata nei primi anni '90. Il gruppo è stao influenzato nel suono da band quali Bathory , Treblinka/Tiamat, Celtic Frost, Nihilist/Entombed, e Candlemass.
Hanno cominciato come band puramente death metal, ma poi il loro sound si è evoluto verso il doom metal e sono tuttora in attività.
