Tutte le canzoni sono eseguite magistralmente e, a differenza delle band Hard rock della precedente generazione, non c'è spazio per l'improvvisazione (tranne che sulla sola "Genocide") ma solo per l'aumento del volume e dell'intensità ritmica. Come ammesso da Rob Halford, le parti vocali furono reincise in studio a posteriori - durante i concerti veri e propri il cantante soffriva di uno spiacevole raffreddore degenerato poi in laringite a causa dell'aria condizionata presente in albergo. Ciononostante Unleashed In The East rimane un vero e proprio classico, che trova in Sinner e Victim of Changes i momenti più belli.
