Jake Gaudaur

Jacob Gill "Jake" Gaudaur, Jr (born 5 October 1920, Orillia, Ontario) is a former Canadian Canadian Football League (CFL) player, executive, and Commissioner of the CFL from 1968 to 1984.
He played for the Hamilton Tigers (1940-1941 & 1948-1949), Toronto Argonauts (1941), Toronto RCAF Hurricanes (1942), Toronto Indians (Ontario Rugby Football Union) (1945-1946), Montreal Alouettes (1947), Hamilton Tiger-Cats (1950-1951 & 1953). He was part of the Grey Cup winning teams of 1942 and 1953.
In 1952, he became the director of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and was President & General Manager from 1956 to 1967.

- He was inducted into the Toronto Argonauts Hall of Fame in 1984.
- He was inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame as a Builder in 1984.
- In 1985, he was made an Officer of the Order of Canada.
- He was inducted into Canada's Sports Hall of Fame.
