Joda is a city and a municipality in Kendujhar district in the Indian state of Orissa.

As of the 2001 Indian censusGRIndia, Joda had a population of 38,671. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Joda has an average literacy rate of 54%, lower than the national average of 59.5%; male literacy is 64% while female literacy is 43%. In Joda, 16% of the population is under 6 years of age. In education, St. Teressa's school provides English medium education. Due to high industrialisation the river and environment are highly polluted. The highly trafficked route from Joda to Keonjhar is not good, as it is basically an iron mine belt. Joda consist of huge iron producers such Tata Steel, Jindal, and SAIL.
