Julien Rodriguez (born 11 June 1978) is a French professional footballer currently playing for Ligue 1 club Olympique de Marseille.
Rodriguez started his career at AS Monaco helping them reach the UEFA Champions League final in 2004, although he didn't make a first-team appearance for Monaco in that European campaign. He joined Scottish Premier League club Rangers on August 4, 2005 for £1m.
He scored his first goal for Rangers on March 11, 2006 in Rangers' 4-0 victory over Kilmarnock at Ibrox Stadium. He made a total of 30 appearances for Rangers in his debut season with the club.
Rodriguez was expected to be an important member of the Rangers team under the management of fellow Frenchman Paul Le Guen in season 2006-07. However Paul Le Guen's reign as manager was short and unsuccessful, and Rodriguez is was transferred to Olympique de Marseille in January 2007 following the appointment of new manager Walter Smith.
He has since received A call up to the French national squad.
