Hello Kerusso,

I notice that you've posted yourself into the AMA's Member page. :-)

I'm Steve Caruso, the acting Coordinator of this band of misfits, and at your disposal for answering any questions you may have about the Association. I also see that you've posted our reading list on your main page, so I assume you've read through it all (otherwise I would have suggested it as the first place to start, but you seem very well on your way! :-) ).

If you'd like some other Advocates to talk to about their experiences in the AMA before taking on a case, yourself, I would be more than glad to point some in your direction; however, if you feel that you're ready to help out on your own case we currently have two that are pending available Advocates. Also seeing your notes on the Members page, do you wish more to act in a counciling capacity? If so, I'm happy with whatever help you are comfortable to spare. :-)

If you need any help or have any questions, please just drop by my talk page or my desk and leave a note in the appropriate place, and once again, welcome!

Hi Kerusso. I am myself a new advocate who finds myself in a position of needing an outside source with a dispute involving User:Rkinch at the situation at Talk:Quiverfull, the headings "Who is CyberAnth?" and "Rkinch post". [edit] Jancey Sheats deletion

Well I guess I need to thank you for the final deletion of my article on KARK news anchor Jancey Sheats. I truely feel that this is a wrong move, as I have monitored many stubs that your administration has not bothered to touch or look into. It feels to me like a biased deletion, as it's request came from a fellow broadcaster. I came to wiki due to its nature, allowing people to add meaningful articles. You have proven that this is not the case, that it is a case of "who's who". As of such I feel I can't further contribute as an editor, nor can I honestly continue my work as a part of the Association of Members' Advocates. This saddens me as I feel I have made some good contributions in my limited time here, but now I have a doubt that any will remain. Kerusso 18:14, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

Hi Kerusso. I am sorry you feel this way. It really is not a case of 'Who's Who'. Wikipedia has over 1,550,000 articles to look into, and so we rely on our articles for deletion process, among other processes, to bring to attention articles the community believes should not remain on Wikipedia. All I did was assess the arguments made by the community. Nothing on Wikipedia is final; if you truly believe that the article on Jancey Sheats should have been kept, I have provided a temporary copy for you to try again with, at User:Kerusso/Jancey Sheats. Please edit this article to ensure that all information is referenced, and that the article asserts why Ms Sheats is notable (as per our criteria for notability you can see here. • • You say that the community decides. The problem is the community is a small number of administrators, compared to users. My whole point is that while "the community" may feel a particular article might not be worthy, other casual or standard users might. You personally may not know or care about a news anchor from Arkansas, but the residents do. Does that make them less important in opinion than the community? According to the rules of this community, yes it does make others opinions of lesser value. Miss Sheats has worked on a national talk show, and worked with a international performer. I guess that is more reknown than what some of us might have done. I personally have done some reknown achievements, and am considered a expert in my previous field, but I don't consider myself a worthy article. In the state of Arkansas, Texas, and maybe California, Miss Sheats might be consider more reknown and important. Kerusso 20:57, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

• • • • The original article had those mentioned, and when I was asked by Alf photoman, I referrenced the sources. One of the desenting votes (Alf photoman) even changed his vote to "weak keep" after I sourced the article. It was deleted none the less. Kerusso 00:43, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
        • Hi, Kerusso... I'm sorry the article was deleted, but I do feel that the reasoning is sound -- there are, hundreds (if not thousands) of television anchors in the United States... and it opens the floodgates for anchors from New York City to Glendive, MT to have their own articles. I can assure you that the AfD was not done maliciously against you (or the subject, given that I don't know either of you) -- but because, generally speaking, local television anchors (with some limited exceptions) don't meet WP:BIO. WP's Television Stations Project is working on guidelines for local television personalities, and your input is certainly welcome. Amnewsboy 03:44, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

That deletion debate was closed a year and a half ago. The article was deleted at that time, but was since recreated with proper information. Previously, there wasn't much chance of the article being more than a stub.--Drat (Talk) 05:20, 12 January 2007 (UTC)

To all whom it concerns: A harassment report has been submitted for John Reaves. I have expressed here a continued desire that he does not contact me again, and he continues to do so. I consider this harassment, and have issues a complaint in that regards. Kerusso 03:51, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

John Reaves was "proven" right on the harassment report I made, thought he was given a very slight reprimand/statement about how he handled the initial conversation here ("Better still, a few polite words asking Kerusso to be more civil might have been all that was needed."). But to make Reaves feel better, he was right!!!! I now hope this person will not post to me here. He was right, I was wrong. Kerusso 05:25, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
