KPOO

KPOO is a nonprofit, noncommercial radio station broadcasting from San Francisco, California (US) at 89.5 MHz FM. It is one of the many stations founded by community broadcasters Lorenzo Milam and Jeremy Lansman on the premise that any community group with something to say should be able start a low powered radio station to serve that community. The station broadcasts meetings of various local governing bodies as well as different and varied music shows.

Meyer Gottesman was the first President and founder of Poor Peoples' Radio, Inc which is the licensee of KPOO. KPOO is on the air since 1973.
