Lampung language is a language spoken by about 20% Lampung people in Sumatra.
This language comes from Sundic branch, of the Nuclear Malayo-Polynesian languages and has a close relation with Sundanese, Batak, Javanese, Balinese, Malay, etc.
In ancient times Lampung language was written by Rencong alphabet, but this alphabet is strange for Lampung people himself. Later this alphabet started from "ka-ga-nga-pa-ba-ma-ta.." begins to teach in schools, as one step to maintain Lampung people's local norms.
