Hi there! I notice you added a link from George Fox to the new page English Dissenters. I like what you've done with that page, but you should be aware that there is some overlap with the article dissenter. These two pages should probably be merged; what do you think? (For now, I've made the Fox article point to "English" and "dissenter" as separate terms, simply because "GF was an English dissenters" isn't grammatical.) AlexG 12:55, 3 Nov 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Help reporting copyright violation for pt:Imagem:Mittelalter.JPG
I'm afraid the nearest I have to a qualification in Portuguese is a French O-Level, but, in referring someone to the Portuguese Wikipedia on Wikipedia:Help desk I became aware of this image which is clearly a copyright violation and I would appreciate help in reporing it as such.
The image is a photograph of a Der Spiegel front cover, so clearly copyrighted by Der Spiegel, even if it turns out that the image they have used is public domain through age, but the only copyright claimed is that of the uploader.
The claimed licence is GFDL, but I think it very unlikely that Der Spiegel would release under that licence.
The image is not being used in a "fair use" context, so fair use would not be a valid replacement licensing basis.
Even if the context were fair use for a magazine cover image, the image is too high resolution to claim fair use.
I'd appreciate it if you could register the copyright violation on the Portuguese Wikipedia, as it will take me a long time and maybe much Bablefish to do it myself.

Thanks for uploading Image:Bras.jpg. The image page currently doesn't specify who created the image, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the image yourself then you need to indicate why we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the image yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the image also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the image qualifies under Wikipedia's fair use guidelines, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use. If you want the image to be deleted, tag it as {{db-unksource}}.
If you have uploaded other images, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of image pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion.

Hi. I noticed you've made a few changes to Latter Day Saint movement which have been subsequently reverted. The first one was an addition of "Humanistic Mormons," a branch that myself and other editors have never heard of. Do you have any documentation of this as a legitimate denomination? It'd be good to collaborate in creating an article for them if you do. Your second edit, which you marked as "NPOV," was a seemingly random deletion of material that bore no relation to a POV issue at all. I'm not sure what your intention was there.
We're glad to welcome contributions to LDS-related articles, of course, but you should probably be aware that as a whole, the editors attached to Wikipedia:WikiProject Latter Day Saint movement are somewhat cautious of undocumented changes — the controversial nature of the LDS Church invites a lot of false/weird additions and vandalism, after all. I've removed your prod tag from Theologika because you didn't prod it correctly. Instead of putting in a {{prod}} tag, you need to put in {{subst:prod|reason}} - this will make sure it's correctly formatted and appears in the daily list where it can be considered and acted on. Hmmm... I didn't realize there were non-Brazilians on the Brazilian list. I do think it's important to have at least the Portuguese and Brazilian as separate lists, as they are big and distinct enough countries (and people like Carmen Miranda, and others, could be on both lists if they are associated with both countries). The problem seems to be that there are a minority of people who aren't Brazilian or Portuguese, but are Luso. I suppose we could have a "Luso American" list of people - including only those who aren't Portuguese and/or Brazilian (i.e. Horace Silver and Beach) - and put that list right after the "See Also" on the Luso page (I mean the "See Also" that sends people to the Brazilian and Portuguese lists). [edit] Note on adding full Eastern Orthodox Project to your watchlist
This is a note for members of the Eastern Orthodox Project: Since the project's main page has been converted to a portal-style box format, each of the boxes is actually its own page (you can see the page outside its box by clicking the 'Edit' link on any often the section boxes on the project page, which takes you to the edit page for its contents).
