In The End: Live & Rare is a 7 track EP, the title track being lifted from Linkin Park's debut album, Hybrid Theory. The album was only released in Japan, and although classed as a promotional item, was produced in heavy amounts. The CD can often be found via import in American and English record stores, though it is usually highly priced.
The tracks featured on the CD are the bonus tracks from the CD singles. "My December" is not a B-side, contrary to what many people believe. My December was written by Mike Shinoda a month after Hybrid Theory. The only song that can be considered a true B-Side is "High Voltage", which is a reprised version of the same song from the Hybrid Theory EP that was cut during production.
"My December" has been covered by artist Josh Groban with a studio version and performed live on tour.
