Luke Covell (born November 9, 1981 in Goondiwindi, Queensland) is an Australian-born New Zealand rugby league player for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks in the National Rugby League competition, he also previously played for the Wests Tigers. His position of choice is on the wing and he is the nominated goal kicker for the Cronulla Sharks and scored 176 points in 22 games in season 2006. Covell has opted to make himself available for the New Zealand national side due to his father being born in Gisborne. He represented New Zealand A in 2005 when they defeated Australia A.
