The Luxembourgian cricket team is the team that represents the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in international cricket matches. They became an affiliate member of the International Cricket Council in 1998.[1]
Their international debut came in 2003, when they participated in the European Affiliates championship, finishing last in the eleven team tournament.[2] The following year, they took part in the ECC Representative Championship in Slovenia, finishing in fifth place, with their only win coming against Bulgaria.[3]
In 2006, Luxembourg took part in Division Four of the European Championship in Belgium, finishing third in the four team tournament, losing out on promotion in the last over against Cyprus.[4] They will play in Division Four again in 2009.
The team plays its home matches at the Pierre Werner Cricket Ground in Walferdange.
