[edit] Magmatron

Magmatron was marked as a copyvio by User:Crzrussian and deleted by User:Mushroom. Best to contact them for any follow-up. By rights you should have received a message on your talk page about the deletion, but this doesn't always happen. Earlier in the day, the page had been marked for "speedy deletion" possibly for the same reason. Any material copied from other sources may lead to such deletions. Wikipedia is very strict about copyvio and the philosophy "it's on the Net so it's public domain" is not accepted here. Hope this helps. 23skidoo 21:50, 2 March 2006 (UTC)

Additional - according to the copyvio archive, the claim is that a substantial portion of the page was identical to [1] and after a quick glance I have to agree. After looking at other postings on your talk page, I recommend you review Wikipedia's copyright policy. 23skidoo 21:55, 2 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your text

Magmatron is a Transformers character who first appeared in the Japanese Beast Wars Neo series, and was later released in the Beast Machines Dinobots line. His body is made up of 3 smaller robots who take the form of a Gigantosaurus, Elasmosaur and a Quetzalcoatlus. They can combine into a humanoid robot form, or that of a giant Fuzor with attributes of all three beasts. His only has one personality, and seems to be somehow related to the Generation One Duocons, only with 3 split forms instead of 2. Magmatron appeared in the Transformers: Universe - Wreckers comics in the US as leader of the Dinobots, as well as a Predacon leader in the IDW Beast Wars comics.

This is your text. If the other text was on the original box it's probably copyrighted, so you can't use it without permission. Please don't add it back, maybe you could rewrite it using different words. Thank you. Mushroom (Talk) 11:58, 3 March 2006 (UTC)
If it's a translation, you need permission from both the original author and the translator. The main reason for this is that everything that is put on Wikipedia is automatically released under the GFDL license, so the text becomes free to use and the author loses some rights over it. This is illegal without the author's explicit consent. You can read more about this at Wikipedia:Copyrights or Wikipedia:Copyright FAQ. If you find similar cases of copyright violation on Wikipedia, please report them to WP:CV. Thank you. Mushroom (Talk) 15:52, 3 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Tech Specs

Please do not use Wikipedia to promote your fanmade tech specs. If there is information you wish to add, put them in actual text form, not in images. ' (Feeling chatty? ) (Edits!) 21:42, 3 March 2006 (UTC)

Again, stop readding your crap. ' (Feeling chatty? ) (Edits!) 02:29, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
Stop it. ' (Feeling chatty? ) (Edits!) 01:29, 5 March 2006 (UTC)
I agree. These are not encyclopedic in any way. Just upload the images you use on the cards, not images that include all of the fake technical information you create for them. They are good pictures, but none of it is fact created by either Mainframe, Hasbro, or the other companies that have produced or been involved with the Transformers franchise. Ryulong 16:33, 28 March 2006 (UTC)
Again, do not use the Tech Specs. If you are using them for purposes as an image to show the character, please crop the image as to only show the image. Do not add the fan-made tech specs. Ryulong 22:25, 2 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Links

Links are not supposed to be in section headings, nor is Megatron a "main article" for Megatron (Cybertron). They're different characters. ' (Feeling chatty? ) (Edits!) 02:29, 4 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] License tagging for Image:Csranger.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Csranger.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Image Tagging Image:Crosswise1.jpg

Warning sign
This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Crosswise1.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, consider reading fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fritz Saalfeld (Talk) 11:32, 10 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Tags

Please do not remove informational tags on articles. They are there to remind editors to include references and to cite the approproiate sources. Thanks. --Madchester 20:18, 21 June 2006 (UTC)

Please do not remove maintenance notices from pages unless the required changes have been made. If you are uncertain whether the page requires further work, or if you disagree with the notice, please discuss these issues on the page's talk page before removing the notice from the page. These notices and comments are needed to establish community consensus about the status of a page. Thank you.

Again, please do not remove article tags. Thanks. Further removal can result in a block. --Madchester 23:42, 21 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Ransack

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Ransack, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Importance). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at Talk:Ransack. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.

Again, please do not remove tags on articles placed by other editors. This can be seen as vandalism and can result in a block. Also, please assume good faith when dealing with other editors. Calling out other users as "morons" is not acceptable behaviour. Thanks. --Madchester 20:21, 21 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] June 2006

You have been blocked from editing for violating Wikipedia policy against constant removal of maintenance and prod tags. To contest this block, please reply here on your talk page by adding the text {{unblock}} along with the reason you believe the block is unjustified, or email the blocking administrator or any administrator from this list. Note to sysops: Unblocking yourself should almost never be done. If you disagree with the block, contact another administrator.

{{unblock|I did remove the maintenance tag on the [[Ransack]] page and put in thr talk why I thought it shouldn't be deleted. Where do I go to talk about the pages' possiblke deletion then? Does someone else remove the tag after a while? What is the proper amount of time? As for the maintenance note, I'll leave it there, but I'll still state my reason why I think the article is fine. Is that acceptable?}}

To quote your first edit summary "(rv - removed moron addition - Ransace is the name of several characters - one Insecticon and several Decepticons", please see the policies for no personal attacks and civility. --pgk(talk) 16:46, 22 June 2006 (UTC)

Regarding the removal of the {{unsourced}} tags wikipedia relies articles to be cited from reliable sources and does not permit original research. Someone watching the show and writing about it or reading a box is totally inadequate. --pgk(talk) 16:50, 22 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Talk page comments and warnings

This is your last warning. Removing warnings from your talk page is c-onsidered vandalism. You will be blocked from editing Wikipedia and your talk page will be protected from editing if you do it again.

Please stop removing comments and warnings from your talk page. Thanks. --Madchester 18:53, 22 June 2006 (UTC)

I can't even remove a warning tag about an image having no copyright info, where the image has now been fixed? I was just trying to save space once the issue was closed. Sorry user:mathewignash - 6-22-06
The warning was a bit harsh but it is correct. The only way to remove stuff from a talk page is to archive it. See Wikipedia:How to archive a talk page. Cheers! Sasquatch t|c 04:55, 23 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Copyrights

DO NOT USE FULL TECH SPEC/BIO TEXT! That is copyrighted work, and Wikipedia:Copyright#Using copyrighted work from others expressely forbids that. No, that much does not fall under fair use. At all. Please remove all Tech Spec/Bio text, or I will be forced to list all of the offending articles on Wikipedia:Copyright problems and report you. [edit] Cheetor

Any particular reason you reverted my edits? RedNitrogen 18:58, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

Okay, that makes a little more sense, but I think you are a bit confused. I am the one who attributed it to both episodes. You reverted it BACK to just part 2, which is wrong. As for the other paragraph I deleted, it really needs to either go or be reworked. Nothing except the first sentence is even about Cheetor, and that sentence itself is an extremely vague theme that occurs throughout Season 3, not just in a single episode. I'm not saying that the part about Cheetor isn't important, but the way it stands now makes no sense. It is not an article about Rattrap or Dinobot.

[edit] Transformers articles

I believe there was discussion regarding various Transformers articles at Wikipedia:Articles for Deletion. In the case of Ransack (Transformers), the article was deleted by User:Madchester on the grounds that it was a recreation of a previously-deleted article Ransack which had gone through the Wikipedia:Proposed deletion process. Such articles can be deleted at any time unless they are substantially different than what was deleted before. If you aren't doing so, it's always a good idea to add articles you create to your Watchlist so that you can be made aware of things like WP:PROD and WP:AFD nomination. 23skidoo 13:32, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image tagging for Image:Csinfernoii.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Csinfernoii.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

[edit] Beast Wars Episode Synopsis

Please note its nothing against you personally, its just it does make the articles look incredibly cumbersome. Its not a concise summary of that character if you know what I mean. The way Optimus Primal and Megatron look is probably best - just listing the most important events in that characters season without listing massive episode synopses that have little to do with the actual character. That said, a page for episode synopses is a great idea. Regards. SMegatron 08:03, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

Tried it for Equal Measures and Chain of Command. But they still need a lot of work. SMegatron 10:58, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Transformer info in a fraternity article????????

Please quit doing that, it doesnt belong there. It would be better to make a list of Transformer Characters article or a disambiguation page leading to the Omega Delta (Transformer character) rather than pluggging in whatever fan trivia that name brought to your head. It'll better to make another article than to mix it in with another article that have nothing in common. Plus, the editors that maintain that article might get upset and black ball you. Anyway, I removed the bits you added, it'll be for the best. Mighty Ozymandias 23:45, 14 September 2006 (UTC)

Hey, whats happening? I do not mean to be a jerk here, but putting the transformer trivia back on the Omega Delta article doesnt make things right. The problem still exist, even if you moved it to the bottom of the page. If it was a disambiguation page it wouldnt be a problem, however, it is not a disambiguation but an article to which your contributions are out of context.
I mean, lets say i wanted to know more about transformers and did a wiki search and the Omega Delta fraternity came up because of what you added to the article. How would it benefit me to read an article about a fraternity if I wanted to do some research on transformers for my essay or article? Do you see how that would be a problem?
So please, do not add it back but rather make a new article or create a disambiguation page. If you do not know how then a little research goes a long way (or just ask). Mighty Ozymandias 07:08, 16 September 2006 (UTC)

I'll look, but I'm not sure of which article you are talking about, but I will remove and unwanted text. I can't remove anything until you unblock me though.user:mathewignash

There are several, probably all of them. Hot Rod (Transformers) and Scourge (Transformers) are two I noticed with substantial parts. Really, the larger problem is that none of these articles are written like encyclopedia articles. A lot of them don't even have complete sentences and many have no links. Eventually they will be deleted if this is not corrected. Wikipedia is not a game guide, and these pages need to be coherent encyclopedia articles. —Centrxtalk • 02:56, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

Merely changing the obvious indicators of copyright infringement does not change the fact that it is a copyright infringement. If you do not re-write the articles that you started, in encyclopedic, wikified form, without any text copied from other authors, they will have to be deleted or reverted back to before you edited them. —Centrxtalk • 22:50, 11 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Cswindcharger.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Cswindcharger.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}. If you have not already done so, please also include the source of the image. In many cases this will be the website where you found it.

[edit] Unspecified source for Image:Cswindcharger.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Cswindcharger.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. [edit] Replaceable fair use

[edit] Image:Mirage-universesp.jpg

Warning sign This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Mirage-universesp.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a free image could reasonably be found or created. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. [edit] Sentinel Maximus

Hey Mat. I noticed on the Sentinel Maximus page that you listed the Cybertron Collector's comic as an IDW comic. Are you sure? I don't mean to sound patronizing, but I was always under the impression that Fun Publications produced it through the Collector's club comic. Anyway, best regards.SMegatron 12:55, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

Fair enough. Sorry to be a pain but thats honestly the first Ive heard of it being IDW. Thanks for clearing that up though. Best regards.SMegatron 22:14, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Circuit Breaker

Hello. I couldn't help but notice that you continue to post a hi-resoltion of a piece of commissioned artwork that does not belong to you, or Marvel Comics either. I know this because I own the image. I own it because I commissioned the artist Will Mangin and colorist Ryan Button to produce it for a private project involving a non-profit artwork portfolio. I also own it because the image (among others) was copyrighted in MY NAME in early 2006. So far, I have politley removed the image myself twice, but I've looked into the history of "vandalism" for the article of CIRCUIT BREAKER and noticed that a compatriot of mine working on the project probably made notice to you on several occasions to please have the image removed. I have since removed the image, for what I hope is the last time.

Several areas that you need to be aware of:

1. There are only two places I can think of where you may have obtained the artwork and in both cases, the copyright information was plainly stated.

2. I MIGHT consider allowing to use a much smaller image, so long as you contact me regarding it first. But posting a hi-resolution image of original artwork that I paid for with my own money for free public usage is questionable ethics in my book. All ownership and copyright information should be included as well as the artist/colorist responsible for the artwork. As it is now, you do not have permission to use it, and every time you repost it, you give others the impression that it is publicly owned. It's not.

3. I don't want to be a jerk about this. So, let's say you just do as I ask or get in touch with me before you repost that image again. Otherwise I will gather the proper documentation and contact the necessary people at Wikipedia... from what I can tell, you've had some problems before; I'm sure you'd like to avoid being reprimanded for continued copyright negligence. I don't want to be that guy, and I think if you look at things from my point of view, you will understand why I'm upset about it. On the contrary, I can't understand why you think it is OK for you to keep putting it up when you know the art doesn't belong to you.

If you want to contact me directly, I'm more than happy to talk about. My email is acovals@sbcglobal.net. We can have a nice private discussion. Until then, I'm watching the Circuit Breaker wiki. I didn't pay for that artwork to be used as reference material for Wikipedia.

Thanks, I look forward to talking to you. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Acovals (talkcontribs) 18:54, 1 January 2007 (UTC).

[edit] Again with the Circuit Breaker?

Hey, dude. What's your problem? Why do you continue to be so blatantly dishonest about this image? I've also spoken to the artist of this piece and neither of us have given you consent to continue usage of this image. I gave you easy instructions on how to contact me regarding this issue and you choose to ignore it. I will avoid any type of slander regarding this outrage and simply have an intervention staged regarding this issue. Your decision to disregard the integrity of the artist and colorist and my ownership of said image is duly noted. Thanks for stealing. [edit] Blocked

You have been blocked from editing for 1 week. If you continue to upload or copy images or text, you will be permanently banned from editing. This recent case is especially egregious, in that someone affiliated with the copyright holder has told you to cease and desist. Other than the fact that if you continue you will be banned from Wikipedia, also consider:

  • Articles which contain copyrighted text ultimately need to be deleted, so your contributions and any subsequent contributions would all be deleted. Copying makes a nicer article in the short term, but in the long term it destroys your efforts and the efforts of anyone else interested in Transformers and the the article in the end is much worse.
  • Violating copyright is illegal. You are vulnerable to fines of tens of thousands of dollars.

You seem to be a good-faith contributor, but you and Wikipedia exist in a legal environment where you cannot copy the work of others without permission, and it is necessary that you follow these rules on Wikipedia. If you have any questions about what copyright means, I would be happy to help. — Centrxtalk • 03:10, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

Excuese me for asking here, but WHAT material was copyrighted that I added? If you mean the Circuit Breaker picture, I already spoke with the person last week and we came to an agreement on how ot handle it. I can provide the text to you. If it's something else, let me know. user:mathewignash

If this in relation to the Circuit Breaker picture, in mathewignash's defense, he did finally get in touch with me regarding the image. My initial intention was to not have the situation resort to this; I simply wanted the image removed. Acovals 08:06, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

As I explained, the re-placing of this picture was unintentional, I undid a revision from someone on 2-2-07 and it returned the picture, then went to bed. By the time I returned the next morning, it had been removed. Since then OTHER people have been putting it back, I have not. I even apologised to the people who complained on another message board. Now over a week later what's the issue? user:mathewignash

I have unblocked you. You are right about your changes the Circuit Breaker page; my decision was affected because of the past problems with adding copyrighted material. Regarding use of the image: In order for the image to be used, Marvel Comics would need to send confirmation to the Wikimedia Foundation that the image is licensed for publication under the GFDL, an appropriate Creative Commons, or some other free license. Otherwise, it cannot be used. —Centrxtalk • 20:09, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

Is there a source for your rank names (like Sub-Commander) or whatever? They seem to be completely made up and unofficial, which is why I keep removing them. If they are official, please let me know. usertalk:mathewignash

  • Actually I'm the one who ADDED in the rank level to the template for the express purpose of listing characters' show ranks, such as Scorponok being Sub-Commander of the Predacons, before I did that there was not a Rank option. Now I don’t mind that you’ve come along and added the numbers from the Bio & Tec (although I’ve never been clear on what they stood for, hierarchy or danger level) but that’s not why I put it there. Perhaps we could list it as their TV show rank afterwards?. --The Matrix Prime 01:52, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Lightnintg Strike Coalition

Hey Mat. I just thought I'd give you a heads up that the Lightning Strike Coalition page, which i think you created, has been noted as possibly not satisfying the notability guidelines. Head over to the page to see what I mean. Regards.SMegatron 09:38, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Unspecified source for Image:Scattorshotcd.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Scattorshotcd.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 03:39, 13 March 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Iamunknown 03:39, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Vandal Like Activity

Look this has got to stop before it gets even more ridiculous. At first I wrote you off as simple vandal, much like those who replace entire pages with nonsensical words or phrases but surprisingly I have seen you actually contribute helpful changes on occasions which means you must at least have a basic understanding of Transformer Lore. Now I realize that we had a bit of a spar over the Generation One – The Original Series thing but that’s over and you even got your way. But simply reverting my edits just because I made them (I know you'll cite a reason: spelling – Japanese names – bad hair day – yada yada yada) but we both know you do it simply because I made the edit.

Now I don’t want to get into an edit war were I go and undo all your changes simply because you made them and I don’t think you want that either. I don’t like to complain and I don’t believe in banning people except in extreme cases but you have to realize that at some point one of the admins is going to see what you’re doing and then there is bound to be trouble. I’d rather call it off before then and I would think that you do to. This has got to stop, fair? --The Matrix Prime 15:53, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Prime Category

Hi user:mathewignash, you still seemed a little confused about the purpose of the Prime category so I’m here to help you out again. I think your trouble maybe that your confusing Convoy with Prime. Now that is the Japanese term for Prime so in that regard you are accurate but it really doesn’t have anything to do with this particular case. Just drop Convoy and stomp on it repeatedly and toss it into the trash. For the rest of this discussion that word just may as well not exist (at least until we’re done).

You are correct when you say that Sonar does not carry the title “Prime” in his name. But I didn’t create the category to list out just all the Primes. Its purpose was to list out any transformers with connections to the name “Optimus Prime”. That includes among others Hot Rod, Vector Prime, Nemesis Prime, Optimus Primal Onyx Primal, Optimus Minor and Sonar. Now I know you don’t like to think of Sonar as a clone but you have to agree that there is at least enough evidence to support putting him on that list at least as a probationary member. A clone would qualify as a member of the “Prime Family” if you will.

If you think the category’s purpose would be clearer, I have thought of changing its name to Primes/Primals. Opinion? --The Matrix Prime 15:22, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Megatron Orientation

"It is a little known fact about Megatrons sexual orientation, the colour purple may hint at his homosexuality. He is also a very flamboyant machine."

Good job getting rid of this, I've never even heard of this little fan threoy! Besides being a robot Megatron doesn't even come off that way and its pretty clear that the purple coloring is a referance to Imperial Purple. Where do people even come up with this stuff? Thanks for catching this. --The Matrix Prime 00:58, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Dreamwave

Hey Mat. Just to avoid future friction, I thought I'd explain why Im editing the Dreamwave sections the way I am. Having separate sentences for each thing that happened to the character breaks up the section unnecessarily. In my opinion it should actually read like a fictional biography. To that end, I've been splitting it into paragraphs for eack major Dreamwave series. One for each of the three War Within series, a paragraph explaining what happened in the interim (Ark crash, war, explosion of Ark 2, etc), then one for the first two G1 minis and the unfinished ongoing (or if there's not enough, a condensed form). Let me know how this works for you. Regards. SMegatron 13:11, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Episode synopses

I realise Im probably going to come across as petty have undone your changes to Blitzwing and Astrotrain, so I thought I 'd give an explanation. My belief is that we should really only give complicated episode synopses like that when its really necessary to the characters - for example I did something similar for Seaspray and "Sea Change" yesterday. Blitzwing and Astrotrain weren't really major characters in that episode, they really only showed up for about 5 minutes, tried to make an alliance, got clocked by Prime and fled (if i remember it correctly). I don't think thats really enough to warrant a separate paragraph describing the events of Prime Target on it own, so Ive added just a short mention of it after Triple Takeover. Anyway, let me know what you think. Regards.SMegatron 09:33, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
