Meirionnydd Nant Conwy is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election.
The Meirionnydd Nant Conwy Welsh Assembly constituency was created with the same boundaries in 1999.

It consists of Merionethshire and part of the Conwy valley.
[edit] Boundary review
Following its review of parliamentary representation in Wales, the Boundary Commission for Wales has created the constituency of Dwyfor Meirionnydd to be fought at the next UK general election in 2009 or 2010.

It has the lowest population of any constituency in Wales, and also has the highest proportion of Welsh-speaking voters. Following the Welsh Boundary Commission's report, this seat is to be abolished for the next General Election, to be replaced in part by Aberconwy and part by Dwyfor Meirionnydd.

From 1983 to 1992, the parliamentary constituency was represented by Dafydd Elis-Thomas who now represents Meirionnydd Nant Conwy in the National Assembly for Wales. It is currently represented by Elfyn Llwyd, retaining the seat for Plaid Cymru.
