Brecon and Radnorshire is a county constituency of the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. Created in 1918, it elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election. It is the single largest constituency (by area) in England and Wales.[1]
The Brecon and Radnorshire Welsh Assembly constituency was created with the same boundaries in 1999.

The boundaries of the constituency correspond broadly with the traditional counties of Brecknockshire and Radnorshire.

While once a Labour stronghold, the constituency has been in Liberal Democrat hands since 1997. It was the Conservative Party's fifteenth target seat at the 2005 election.
