[edit] My Userboxes
I use userboxes in order to further describe myself. I have many more userboxes than the ones shown on this page. The rest of them on the user subpage known as User:Michaeldsuarez/more userboxes. I enjoy adding userboxes to that subpage, and I have a ton of them there in order to prove it.

[edit] Tip of the Day
Tip of the day...
When asking a question at the Help desk or the Reference desk, please include all the facts needed to answer the question. For example, do not ask "who was president in 1900?" without mentioning the country you are interested in. This prevents the volunteers of those departments from having to ask follow-up questions before providing answers. Friendly reminder: the Help desk is for questions on how to use Wikipedia, while the Reference desk is for questions about anything else (real world questions). Read more: Wikipedia:Questions

[edit] Tip of the Moment
Another Tip of the moment...
Let's say you have thought of a new category you want to place some articles in. To create this new category, go to one of the pages that you wish to put there, and add a category tag naming the new category to the end of the article, like this: [[category:category name]] ...where in place of "category name" you type the actual name of the category. When you save the page, the category should appear on the bottom line of the page. If the page doesn't exist yet, it will turn up in red. But this doesn't mean there is no such category: it might exist but with a slight difference in naming. Before you create a new category, make sure it doesn't already exist. In a new browser window, click on "Special pages" in the toolbox menu on the left side of your screen. Then click on "All pages". Check the category namespace box, and then enter the name of the category. Look over the index for synonymous categories. Once you have determined that the category does not exist, click on the redlink you created earlier, and then click on the article creation link provided in the instructions that appear on your screen. |

Hello there (totd announcements and task list)...
The default Wikipedia search engine can be slow and unreliable. Luckily, alternatives are available, such as a customized Google searchbox, already preset to search Wikipedia: [1] Cut and paste it to your Userpage, or click on it, and save it as a button on your browser's toolbar.
