NBR C Class

The North British Railway (NBR) C Class is a class of 0-6-0 steam locomotive designed for freight work. They were designed by Matthew Holmes and introduced in 1888.
They were classified J36 by the LNER. Many of them passed into British Railways ownership in 1948 and they were numbered 65210-65346.
One, 673 Maude (LNER number 9673; LNER 1946 number 5243; BR number 65243) has been preserved by the Scottish Railway Preservation Society at the Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway.
