Nebraska Air National Guard

The Nebraska Air National Guard is based at Lincoln Municipal Airport. The Adjutant General for the Nebraska Military Department (who commands Nebraska's military forces and directs the Nebraska Emergency Management Agency) is Major General Roger P. Lempke.
The main unit of Nebraska's ANG is the 155th Air Refueling Wing. The 155th flies the Boeing KC-135R Stratotanker aircraft, seeing recent action in the Balkans, Middle East, and Europe. Previous aircraft flown include the P-51 Mustang, the F-80 Shooting Star, the F-86D Super Sabre, the RF-84 Thunderflash and the RF-4C Phantom II.
