New York State Route 297 is a short state highway located in the suburbs east of Syracuse in Onondaga County. It connects the communities of Fairmount and Solvay.
It feeds directly into Interstate 690 at its eastern end. In late August of every year, this makes it especially important and heavily-trafficked as it provides one access route to the New York State Fair.
