News Digital Media is the digital division of News Limited, the Australian section of News Corporation.
Founded in 1996 this digital division was formally called News Interactive, until it was relaunched in November 2006. The business premises are spread over multiple sites in Sydney.

NEWS.com.au – Based in Pyrmont, this is an international and domestic news website. As well as aggregating content from a number of the key metro mastheads through out Australia, the site also boasts a dedicated breaking news and multimedia team.
FOXSPORTS.com.au - Based in Pyrmont. FOXSPORTS.com.au is a partnership between News Digital Media and Premier Media Group (owner of Fox Sports (Australia)). The Website provides breaking news, live scores, results, video, photos, blogs and online games across a broad range of sports of general interest to the Australian public. The site also provides an overview of shows on the Fox Sports (Australia) TV channels and a TV guide.
truelocal.com.au - Based in North Ryde. Truelocal is a local business search directory site. It utilises the resources of an Australia wide network of community newspapers owned by News Limited. homesite.com.au - Based in Pyrmont. Homesite is Australian leading home and garden website, concentrating on interior and exterior renovations and household improvement. The site contains directories of recommended merchants and suppliers, tips and DIY Videos. The site declares 400,000 unique visitors per month (this figure is accurate as of Dec 2006)
CareerOne.com.au – Based in Kippax Street. CareerOne is a classified search website. The career one brand appears both in print and online and the website carries in excess of 75,000 jobs. The site also offers a tool to help people write resumes / CVs as well as offering industry specific newsletters and career advice
CARSguide.com.au – Based in Pyrmont. CARSguide is a classified vehicles sales website. Besides listing the site contains research and editorial sections written by a dedicated team as well as aggregated from other News Limited owned newspapers. Sponsors of the 2006 Sydney International Motor show at the Sydney Exhibition and convention centre.
realestate.com.au (part-owner) - Based in Melbourne. Realestate is an Australia wide property classified website. As of October 2006 the site had 8,400 real estate agents advertising their properties and in excess of 640,000 properties for usrers to choose from.
News digital Media also manages the Australian versions of the Fox Interactive Media properties MySpace.com and Interactive Games Network

Richard Freudenstein was appointed chief executive officer of News Digital Media in August 2006. He was formally employed by BskyB in the UK. He was made General Manager of BSkyB, in 1999, before being appointed COO in October 2000. His departure from BSkyB was formally announced on 15th December 2005 and returned to Australia in the summer of 2006.
