The North West Counties Football League Division Two is the second division of the North West Counties Football League, a football league based in north-west England.
It sits at step six (or level ten) of the National League System, i.e. it is five levels below the Nationwide Conference and nine levels below the FA Premier League. The top two clubs are automatically promoted to the North West Counties Football League Division One (assuming they meet the ground requirements of the higher level).
There is a promotion/relegation system in place between Division Two and the North West Counties League's feeder leagues, but in recent years few clubs that were eligible for promotion have met the stadium requirements of the North West Counties League, so consequently promotion and relegation between the two levels has not taken place. Because of the lack of local lower-level clubs who meet the league's ground requirements, it only has 18 clubs instead of the 22 provided for in the constitution.
