If You Want Blood You've Got It ble innspilt live i Apollo Theatre i Glasgow, Skottland 30. april 1978, og inneholder live-versjoner av låter fra albumene «T.N.T.», «Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap», «Let There Be Rock», og «Powerage». Det var produsert av Harry Vanda og George Young, som også var produsent for bandets fem første studioutgivelser.
