The Otago Rugby Football Union (ORFU) is the governing body of rugby union in the region of Otago in the South Island of New Zealand. Otago has traditionally been a strong rugby province in New Zealand.

Otago Rugby Football Union was founded in 1881. In 2006, Otago celebrates its 125th year.
[edit] Representative Rugby
The senior representative team will play in the Air New Zealand Cup for the 2006 season, playing previously in the National Provincial Championship since 1976. The team jersey is blue with a yellow collar. They play their home matches at Carisbrook in Dunedin, which also serves as the headquarters of the union.
