Parviz Parastui

Parviz Parastui (also spelt Parviz Parastooee, Persian: پرویز پرستویی , born 25 April 1955 in Hamedan, Iran) is an Iranian actor.
He began acting on stage in 1969, and made his feature film debut in 1983. Amongst his more notable roles are Leily Is With Me (1996), The Glass Agency (1997), the popular satire The Lizard (2003) and The Willow Tree (2005), for which he won the Crystal Simorgh for Best Actor award at the 2005 Fajr Film Festival. He had previously won the Diploma of Honour for the Best Leading Actor at the 1996 Fajr Film Festival for acting in Leily Is With Me, as well as the Crystal Simorgh for Best Leading Actor from the same festival for his performance in The Glass Agancy.
Along with movies, he has also acted in a few television series, including Ebrahim Hatamikia's Khak-e Sorkh (2001). In 2004 he returned to stage acting after an eight year absence on stage.
Besides acting in movies and on stage, Parviz is a singer and so far has recorded three albums. His last album called "Daddy" (Persian: بابایی ) was released in 2006.
