Program Alice
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Program Alice is the name of a fictional genetic experiment in Resident Evil: Apocalypse.
[edit] Background
Program Alice was used on Alice (hence the name) at the end of Resident Evil: Apocalypse. In the film, Alice is impaled by a loose pole during a helicopter crash while trying to escape Raccoon City before a nuclear strike. Two hours later, the Umbrella Corporation retrieves her body from the crash site. Three weeks later, she wakes in a medical facility in a underwater tank with no memory of the outbreak. It is revealed that Dr. Sam Isaacs reanimated Alice with a new strain of the T-Virus giving her telekinetic abilities. She escapes out of the facility, killing everyone in her path. Her telekinesis is shown when she kills a security guard by looking at the camera. During their departure, Dr. Isaacs orders the security guards to let Alice and her comrades to go. As they depart Dr. Isaacs orders the activation of Program Alice as an Umbrella Corperation Logo flashes in her eyes.
When briefly seeing through Alice's perspective, it is shown that she sees like that of the Nemesis. It is unknown if Program Alice, like the Nemesis Program, gives an Umbrella operative the ability to control the program once activated.
[edit] Extinction
After escaping the Raccoon City incident, Alice follows a group of people from the Nevada desert to Alaska that is on a pursuit against The Umbrella Corporation. Alice is driven by her revenge and also must fight to control herself from Program Alice.
