[edit] Wikipedia Censorship
Every time WP kills an article, it censors. Period. Saying "No" to Chinese censorship may work in the press, but to wipe out articles almost without a trace is the very evil it claims to avoid. WP is in effect stating that "this information does not exist". If there is a good reason to exclude information, the article ought to say so. Even if all that remains is an article title and a list of reasons why WP will not offer more, good enough. At least WP acknowledges that the info exists out there somewhere. But to collectively pretend something doesn't exist... that brings WP down to the level of a juvenile popularity contest.
It also invites contributors to look on WP as a semi-hostile force and encourages them to use it as they see fit. Why work hard to have a few pro-delete goons wipe out your work? Help the article, ignore WP in general. It's only using you for what it wants, after all.
[I posted this one the talk page of the Criticism of Wikipedia page -- and it got deleted. The user who deleted it said it wasn't relevent to the page. He didn't attempt to move it or help me by telling me where I should post it; he just deleted it. Hence my point.]
