Scottish First Division 2006-07

The 2006-07 season will be the twelfth season of the Scottish First Division in its current format of ten teams. It takes place from the first match on August 5, 2006 to the final match on April 28, 2007.
The league champions, assuming the club's ground adheres to the Scottish Premier League's basic stadium criteria, will be promoted.
The bottom-placed team will be relegated to the Second Division. The 9th-placed side in the division goes into a relegation playoff with 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the Second Division to determine who will be promoted or relegated.
