Scottish Premier League 2006-07

The 2006-07 Scottish Premier League season will be the ninth season of the Scottish Premier League. It takes place from the first match on July 29, 2006, to the 33rd match on April 8, 2007, when the league splits in half and each team plays a further five matches against the teams in their section.

The league champions and runners-up qualify for the UEFA Champions League, usually entering in the third and second qualifying rounds, respectively. The team finishing third qualifies for the UEFA Cup, as do the Scottish Cup winners, usually entering in the first round and second qualifying round, respectively.

The bottom-placed team will be relegated, providing the team finishing top of the Scottish First Division satisfies basic stadium criteria.
