The Municipality of Silang (Filipino: Bayan ng Silang) is a first class landlocked municipality in the province of Cavite, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 156,137 people in 30,847 households. This is named after silangan (east). Silang is located in the eastern section of Cavite.
