Stephen Carriere (born June 15, 1989, in Melrose, Massachusetts) is an American figure skater. He is the 2007 World Junior Champion.

[edit] Career
Carriere trains at the Skating Club of Boston and is coached by Mark Mitchell and Peter Johansson. He won the 2006 Junior Grand Prix Final after qualifying for it the second year in a row. After placing ninth in his senior national debut, Carriere was named to the 2007 Junior Worlds team. At Junior Worlds, after placing sixth in the short program, he won the free skate, pulling up to win the event overall.
His cousin Caroline Hallisey is a short track speed skater who competed at the 1998 Winter Olympics, the 2002 Winter Olympics, and the 2006 Winter Olympics.
